To make a day of it

Château du Petit Lude stands in Albi (Tarn), in the Occitanie region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

On the edge of Albi, the château du Petit Lude was built from 1645 for bishop Gaspard de Daillon du Lude, replacing the château de Combefa. Once nicknamed the Petit Versailles for its scale and gardens, it now houses the buildings of the Bon Sauveur foundation, a hospital and school complex. Original cellars and ten urn pedestals remain in the grounds, along with a neoclassical chapel built in 1846.
