Château du Bosc-Roger stands in Le Plessis-Hébert (Eure), in the Normandie region of France. What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le fief de Bosc-Roger est attesté depuis le 12e siècle et comprend une basse-cour dont la topographie du site garde aujourd'hui une partie de son contour. Elle englobe l'ancienne église paroissiale, le manoir du début du 16e siècle en pan de bois avec tourelle d'angle (tous deux devenus bâtiments agricoles au 19e siècle) , et le colombier. Entre 1786 et 1789, le marquis de Monthiers a fait construire à l'extérieur de l'ancien site castral un château de brique et pierre de style néo-classique dont les aménagements et décors intérieurs ont été en partie conservés (lambris, cheminées, trumeux, alcôves, etc.). Suite à un manque d'entretien dans les années 1990, les autres bâtiments se trouvent en état de péril. L'ensemble est représentatif de l'évolution d'un site seigneurial du 12e au 18e siècle.
