What the French Ministry of Culture records

Les vestiges de l'ancien château, détruit en 1445, se présentent dans le parc sous forme d'une motte et de ruines d'une enceinte. Le château actuel est bâti par Girard de la Madeleine. En 1896, l'édifice est restauré par l'architecte Rotival. Il se compose d'un corps de logis flanqué d'une aile en retour et de tours d'angle. L'intérieur comprend des pièces avec cheminées des 15e et 18e siècle, un salon Empire et des décors néo-gothiques de style Troubadour.
