L'actuelle construction, du 16e siècle, restaurée au 19e, possédait autrefois douves, fossés, pont-levis et mail. Le seigneur avait droit de haute justice, avec des fourches patibulaires à trois, puis à quatre pots. L'ensemble se compose du château, des communs à l'ancienne ferme-manoir d'origine médiévale, et des éléments isolés (anciennes tours, pigeonniers et terrasses). Au nord-est se trouve un ancien pont à appareillage probablement gallo-romain.
