What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le château formait une seigneurie connue depuis le 15e siècle. La façade postérieure nord est la plus ancienne. Aux 15e-16e siècles, le logis est flanqué de deux tours de défenses. En 1776, le corps de logis principal est agrandi d'une aile ouest et une chapelle construite dans le parc. En 1780, deux pavillons complètent les deux ailes. Les communs sont construits en 1820 dans le prolongement des ailes du château et deux grilles ferment la cour. Un pigeonnier avec son échelle tournante et ses 1500 boulins, un potager clos avec pavillons servant de logement au jardinier et de remise, une fontaine et son lavoir, ainsi qu'une chapelle, complètent l'ensemble.
