Le château des Granges fut bâti vers 1770. Il s'agit d'un bâtiment très caractéristique des domaines campagnards de la deuxième moitié du 18ème siècle (plan très simple, construction en moellons et briques). Un parc «à la française» entourait l'édifice, dont subsiste aujourd'hui la grande allée venant du village et conduisant à une cour verte à l'avant des douves. Le reste du parc a été transformé, au début du 19ème siècle, en parc paysager. Toute la partie arrière a été convertie en sous-bois traversé d'allées sinueuses encore visibles à ce jour. Du château du 18ème siècle subsiste la glacière, protégée par un tertre en terre. La salle voûtée est préservée de même que le puits. Les murs de clôture de l'ancien potager entourent un grand pré. La ferme demeure présente bien que transformée au 19ème siècle par la destruction de certains bâtiments et l'aménagement d'une aile en écurie, sellerie et remise à voitures.
