Les abords du château sont organisés selon un jeu de terrasses et d'escaliers. Autour de la cour d'honneur, les bâtiments, datant des 17ème et 18ème siècles, sont disposés en plan en U. Le domaine comprend une chapelle originale du 17ème siècle au décor baroque ainsi qu'une grotte transformée en chapelle funéraire. Le parc, dont les structures anciennes subsistent (escaliers, murs talutés, nymphée), témoigne d'aménagements successifs dans l'esprit du jardin pittoresque. Il présente des petites fabriques et des édicules et est organisé selon une « promenade de l'eau ».
