The present building, a manor reworked in the 19th century, retains only a small part of the earlier structure, known to have existed since the 15th century and possibly earlier, judging by some architectural features. Inside a tower built into the dwelling, one can still see arrow slits, vaulted rooms and sections of wattle and daub walling suggesting the 13th century. A terraced courtyard held up by a very high wall and a farm building resting on substantial cellars complete the site.
