To make a day of it

Château de Saint Riveul stands in Plénée-Jugon (Côtes-d'Armor), in the Bretagne region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

In Plénée-Jugon, in the Côtes-d'Armor, the château de Saint-Riveul bears the date 1728 on its facade, though its spiral staircase and part of its walls survive from an earlier 16th century manor house. The H-shaped main building stands around a courtyard enclosed by two wings of outbuildings and by a moat fed by the Saint-Riveul stream. The building stood abandoned for decades after the Second World War, until restoration work begun in the early 2000s restored its facade and roof by 2017.
