Château de Rouillon stands in Chartrettes (Seine-et-Marne), in the Île-de-France region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Standing on the banks of the Seine at Chartrettes, the château de Rouillon was built in 1595, modelled on a pavilion from the Henri IV quarter of the château de Fontainebleau. Local tradition holds that Gabrielle d'Estrées stayed there shortly before her death in 1599. Having passed through several owners, including the cavalry officer Léon Franchetti and the operetta singer Marie-Louise Cébron-Norbens, it now belongs to the d'Allest family and operates as a guesthouse.
