To make a day of it

Château de Cély stands in Cély (Seine-et-Marne), in the Île-de-France region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

The château de Cély stands northwest of the village, in the Seine-et-Marne department, within an estate now home to a golf course. Originally built by Jacques Cœur in the early 15th century, it underwent significant changes before being largely destroyed during the Franco-Prussian War of 1870. In the 20th century the site changed purpose again, coming into the hands of a Japanese owner who set up a golf course there to showcase his art collection. The building now serves as a campus.
