To make a day of it

Château de Fleury-en-Bière stands in Fleury-en-Bière (Seine-et-Marne), in the Île-de-France region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 12th century, 16th century, 18th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

The château de Fleury-en-Bière stands in Seine-et-Marne with origins tracing back to the 12th century, though its present appearance owes much to work carried out from the 16th century by Côme Clausse and to alterations made in the 18th century under Jérôme d'Argouges. The surrounding park bears the imprint of architect Jean-Baptiste Chaussard, who redesigned it in 1769. The estate has belonged to the de Ganay family since the 1920s, having previously passed through the hands of the Countess de Béhague in the early 20th century.
