Château de Rochetaillée-sur-Saône stands in Rochetaillée-sur-Saône (Rhône), in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
In Rochetaillée-sur-Saône, on the edge of Lyon, a former 12th-century fortified castle overlooks the Saône valley from a spur of the Dombes plateau. Restored several times after centuries of fire and neglect, it now houses the Henri Malartre automobile museum. Visitors come less for the medieval architecture, much of which has vanished, than for the collection of vintage vehicles displayed inside.
