First recorded in the 13th century under the viscounty of Lautrec, the building seen today largely dates from the 15th and 16th centuries. It consists of a massive rubble stone residence arranged in a U shape around an inner courtyard, its only decorative touch being a turret resembling a bartizan, carried on a stone corbel.
