Ce château fit partie du système de défense provoqué par le traité d'Amiens, signé avec les Anglais en 1279. Le logement récent a été remanié au 19e siècle. Perpendiculaire à cette façade, s'élève le logis du 15e siècle avec baies à traverses et à meneaux. Il est dominé par un donjon rectangulaire sur lequel prend appui un mur d'enceinte polygonal derrière lequel s'adossaient des dépendances ruinées. Dans la cour intérieure se trouve une tour polygonale abritant un escalier à vis, percée d'une porte moulurée avec gâbles et pinacles.
