What the French Ministry of Culture records

Partiellement construit sur des bases plus anciennes en 1897-1904, le château possède plusieurs dépendances dont l'ancien manège à chevaux qui se distingue par son décor intérieur. Il s'agit d'une bâtisse de plan rectangulaire pourvue, sur son pignon gauche, d'un appendice carré. Les peintures de ce manège, appliquées au-dessus d'un lambris bas, usent du trompe-l'oeil pour des scènes champêtres ou portuaires, une procession de pèlerinage ainsi qu'une vue de marché. Ce décor pourrait être daté des années 1900-1910 ou 1920.
