What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le château de Moucheton élevé à la fin du 16e siècle, la ferme de Moucheton et le moulin d'Epieds datant du 17e siècle ou du début du 18e siècle, furent édifiés en moellons et enduits au plâtre gros selon les procédés de construction de la Brie. L'ensemble agrandi au 19e siècle et en particulier le château remanié en style troubadour à la même époque, témoignent de l'évolution d'un petit domaine seigneurial de la fin du 16e siècle au milieu du 19e siècle.
