Château de Montfalcon stands in La Biolle (Savoie), in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. No visits are on record for this building.
The ruins of Montfalcon castle stand on an isolated hillock overlooking the Albenche valley, above the hamlet bearing its name, in the commune of La Biolle in Savoie. Once the seat of a lordship raised to a barony, this 13th century stronghold controlled the trade routes linking Chambéry and Annecy. What remains is an irregular polygonal enclosure some 400 metres long, still well preserved on its eastern side, surrounding an upper courtyard where the keep once stood.
