What the French Ministry of Culture records

Château du 13e siècle modifié au 15e. Vers 1870, le logis est modifié par l'architecte Charles Suisse. Il occupe actuellement une terrasse entourée de douves et cantonnée de quatre grosses tours rondes en briques. Les deux tours nord encadrent un corps de logis rectangulaire, complété au sud par deux ailes perpendiculaires. La tour sud-ouest renferme une chapelle du 18e siècle avec autel, retable et boiseries. Le salon du logis principal est orné de lambris du début du 19e siècle et un cabinet aménagé dans l'épaisseur de la muraille de la tour est décoré de papiers peints. La demeure est complétée par des communs composés d'un corps de bâtiment, d'un hangar, d'une fermé accompagnée de maisons d'habitation et d'un puits. Construction en briques typiquement bressane.
