Château de Mézens stands in Mézens (Tarn), in the Occitanie region of France. The château de Mézens overlooks the village of the same name in the Tarn, its medieval keep rising 25 metres with crenellations and machicolations still intact. Built in the 11th century by the lords of Rabastens, it survived the Wars of Religion before being restored in the early 17th century under Jean de Gineste. The property has belonged since the 19th century to the de Solages family, descendants of the original builders.
