Mention d'un manoir à Manteville dès 1456. En 1602, maison forte avec colombier et dépendances. En 1903-1904, d'importants travaux de restauration ont modifié l'extérieur (percement de fenêtres) , mais sans altérer les intérieurs. En 1940, un incendie détruit les intérieurs et la toiture : rénovation postérieure. Parc réalisé en trois périodes : 17e (canal et terrasse adjacente) , 19e (escalier et terrasses) et début du 20e siècle (statuaire de 1921-1922).
