La seigneurie de Luchat apparaît dans les textes en 1553. L'architecture du domaine s'organise autour du logis rectangulaire. Au sud, ce dernier est précédé d'une grande cour bordée de dépendances. Au nord, il ouvre sur un jardin à la française, composé de petites allées et de buis taillés. Ce jardin donne accès au bois par un portail finement mouluré et dont la grille de fer forgé est d'origine. L'intérieur conserve un escalier du 18e siècle, à volées droites et rampe en fer forgé, logé dans un pavillon hors oeuvre. Le pigeonnier du 16e siècle est isolé dans un champ. En pierre de taille, il est coiffé d'une coupole à assises concentriques, ornée de trois lucarnes et d'un petit lanternon. Les 400 boulins sont des nids globuleux en terre cuite.
