Château de Leynes stands in Leynes (Saône-et-Loire), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
In Leynes, in the Saône-et-Loire region, stands a former fortified priory whose history goes back to the early Middle Ages, long held by the abbey of Tournus. Seized and burned on several occasions during the conflicts that struck the region, notably by the troops of Louis XI and later by the lord of Nogent, the building lay in ruins for over a century before being partly rebuilt in the early eighteenth century. Restored since then, it now functions mainly as guest accommodation rather than a site open for heritage tours.
