What the French Ministry of Culture records

Au 19e siècle, le propriétaire s'attache à agrandir le domaine par l'achat de terres et fait abattre des bâtiments anciens pour construire le château. Il créé également un parc, fait planter des allées et dévier la route. Les dépendances n'apparaissent pas sur le plan cadastral de 1823, indiquant une date de construction postérieure. Le château de plan rectangulaire présente deux façades principales ornées de frontons. La travée centrale est divisée en trois travées soulignées par quatre pilastres à chaque niveau. L'intérieur conserve un escalier à rampe en fer forgé du 18e siècle. Le rez-de-chaussée comprend trois salles qui renferment depuis 1950 des éléments de décor de l'hôtel Bourdeau de Lajudie de Limoges.
