What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le château de style Louis XIII est bâti sur une terrasse (1570) desservie par deux escaliers à volée droite à chaque extrémité, et reliés par une balustrade d'une soixantaine de mètres de long. Dans le prolongement de la terrasse, à l'entrée de l'ancien château, se trouve le pigeonnier de 1697. De plan hexagonal, construit en pierre de taille, couvert d'une toiture en dalles de granit posées à redents. Voûte appareillée, sphérique, avec partie supérieure à ciel ouvert, couronnée par une lanterne polygonale. A l'intérieur, pivot central en bois pour l'échelle.
