The château de Launay stands in Saint-Georges-du-Vièvre, in the Eure department, close to the village church. The present house, built around 1735 by the Le Sens de Folleville family, is an example of Louis XV style architecture, while the older timber-framed seigneurial dovecote still bears the arms of Isaac Le Sens from the early 16th century. The whole estate illustrates how an agricultural domain of the Lieuvin region functioned in the 18th century, with its outbuildings, kitchen garden and park.
