Château de Lametz stands in Lametz (Ardennes), in the Grand Est region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Lametz castle is a manor house in the Ardennes whose history is tied to that of the principality of Monaco: it was here that the future prince Florestan Grimaldi met Caroline Gibert de Lametz, whom he married in 1816. Built in the late 16th century in an L-shaped plan, with a later wing and generous attic space, the building stands in a park of about 1.5 hectares, on the edge of the village towards Neuville-Day. Now privately owned, the estate has served various purposes over time, from seigneurial residence to holiday camp, before being restored.
