In Fleurey-sur-Ouche, the château de la Velotte stands on the site of an older residence once favoured by the dukes of Burgundy, whose vaulted cellars still show the base of a spiral staircase. The present building, in a classical style, was erected at the end of the 18th century, incorporating some elements of the earlier structure that was torn down. Notable features include the double-flight staircase added to the entrance in 1769 and a moulded string course running around the façade at first-floor level.
