What the French Ministry of Culture records

Ce château, vaste ensemble avec communs, ferme et jardin, a été édifié vers 1657 pour Sébastien Serezin, conseiller et ancien président de l'élection d'Angers. Le château est constitué d'un corps de logis flanqué de deux ailes formant avant-corps latéraux. La cour d'honneur est encadrée par les communs, les écuries, la sellerie, les logements des domestiques. A côté du château, se situe la ferme et derrière le château une chapelle fondée en 1662. L'intérieur du château conserve des décors de qualité notamment le grand salon avec ses boiseries 18e siècle et la salle à manger Louis XVI.
