What the French Ministry of Culture records

De plan à peu près carré, le château possède deux tours circulaires, celle du sud-est contenant l'escalier. Trois niveaux sur cave et un étage de combles. Sa porte s'ouvre sur un perron circulaire. A la face Est du château a été ajouté au 19e siècle un bâtiment possédant une salle contenant un four qui vient en saillie, deux niveaux et un étage de comble. Sur le tympan de la porte de la tour s'inscrit l'année 1602. Il s'agit là d'une date de remaniement, un château d'époque médiévale existant à cet endroit dont témoignent certains remplois d'éléments sculptés, le départ de deux échauguettes ou encore la différence d'appareil sur les façades.
