At the entrance to the village of Cossaye, in the Nièvre department, the Château de Goujon stands on a hillside overlooking the Acolin valley. Built in the first half of the 19th century, it comprises a main residence alongside farm outbuildings, including stables and a dovecote. The estate, once part of a much larger property belonging to the Prud'homme family, was later divided; the Brivet family carried out its 19th-century renovation and has remained associated with the château ever since.
