Construit en terrasse en 1646, le château est ceint de douves en eau. Les intérieurs, bien que remaniés, ont conservé les cuisines et la laiterie du 17ème siècle, un salon du 18ème siècle ainsi qu'un rare cabinet de bains entièrement couvert de faïence. Outre un escalier principal avec garde-corps en fer forgé, l'intérieur renferme également deux décors superposés dans la salle à manger, l'un du 18ème siècle, l'autre du 19ème siècle représentant des scènes de chasse.
