What the French Ministry of Culture records
Château néo-classique construit en 1831 par l'architecte parisien Antoine-Martin Garnaud. Le bâtiment est très détérioré pendant la première guerre mondiale (toit crevé, intérieur saccagé). Dès 1920, la restauration est menée en respectant l'état ancien (les boiseries Louis XV dans deux pièces du rez-de-chaussée proviennent d'une maison détruite à Charleville). C'est une demeure élevée sur deux niveaux. La partie centrale est surmontée d'un fronton triangulaire. Chaque niveau est rythmé par des pilastres en stuc. L'ensemble du bâtiment est construit en petits moellons recouverts d'un enduit. A l'intérieur, le salon reprend le décor de la façade avec ses pilastres à chapiteaux ioniques appliqués sur les murs.
