Château de Conquereuil stands in Conquereuil (Loire-Atlantique), in the Pays de la Loire region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 15th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.
Two kilometres from the village of Conquereuil, this estate brings together buildings from several periods around a park of about ten hectares. Visitors can see a former hostelry dating from the 15th century, once linked to the pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostela, a chapel dedicated to Saint Margaret topped with a lantern turret, stables, and an 18th-century dovecote. The manor house itself, rebuilt in the 19th century by Porzon de Martel, stands on the site of an earlier medieval castle. A Roman road runs through the park, a reminder of an old crossing point over the Don river.
