To make a day of it

Château de Chabrespine stands in Grazac (Haute-Loire), in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

On the commune of Grazac, in the Haute-Loire department, the ruins of the Château de Chabrespine, also known as Château de Saint-Martial, stand on a rocky spur bordered by the Mécique stream and the Lignon river. Built between the 12th and 15th centuries, only one wing, on the south-east side, still remains from what was once a larger structure. Steep on three sides, the site retains the character of a former stronghold rather than a monument set up for visitors.
