Cet édifice, construit par l’architecte René Hodé, en 1856, à la demande du comte de Villoutreys, est représentatif du courant néo-gothique en Anjou. Le manoir de Coué, appellation de l’ancien château, est alors converti en communs. A l’intérieur, il convient de remarquer le décor éclectique des pièces de réception. Le parc à l’anglaise fut, quant à lui, dessiné par le comte de Choulot.
