What the French Ministry of Culture records

Vestiges d'un important appareil militaire défensif du Moyen-Age. La construction des bâtiments s'échelonne du 15e siècle (tour nord) à la fin du 19e siècle. Recomposition au 18e siècle en mémoire du Maréchal de Bourmont. En 1892, construction d'un château dans le style néo-gothique par Bibard et Lediberder. Les deux communs et l'orangerie ont été construits au début du 18e siècle (1702) dans le style Louis XIV.
