Rebuilt in 1835 for Louis Joseph Polti, a former mayor of the village, it went through a turbulent history, including a devastating fire in 1872 and a lengthy restoration that began in 1967. Now converted into private apartments, it cannot be visited inside, though its exterior can be seen from the public street.
