Château féodal réaménagé en 1840 par l'architecte Contant d'Ivry qui construisit un corps de logis de style classique et conçut entièrement les jardins, le parc et le canal. Le seigneur d'Heilly, hanté par Versailles, consacra sa fortune à vouloir faire de son château le plus magnifique de la province. Le château a été en grande partie détruit et transformé en carrière de pierre après sa vente en 1848.
