To make a day of it

Château d'Harcourt stands in Isches (Vosges), in the Grand Est region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

Built in the 16th and 17th centuries below the village of Isches in the Vosges, the château d'Harcourt was long known as the Vieux Château. Its present name comes from the Harcourt family, who inherited it through marriage in the 18th century after several generations of the Choiseul family held it. Notable features include a gateway with Doric columns, a remnant of a former drawbridge, and a seigneurial dwelling of dressed stone with a square tower and a steep roof of beaver-tail tiles. The château is privately owned and cannot be visited.
