Château d'Éguzon-Chantôme stands in Éguzon-Chantôme (Indre), in the Centre-Val de Loire region of France. The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

What the French Ministry of Culture records

Forteresse fondée au 12e siècle. Au 17e siècle, elle comprenait des douves entourées de hautes murailles, flanquées de huit tours. A l'intérieur se trouvait le pavillon, des corps de logis, des écuries, une grange et une fuye. De ces éléments subsistent les enceintes, deux des tours ayant conservé leurs toitures. Les tours comportent de un à trois étages consistant en salles de tir et de défense faisant de cette édifice un specimen de l'architecture militaire. Certaines tours sont particulières avec un éperon au-dessus des douves. Le portail à mâchicoulis existe encore, mais le pont-levis a été maçonné. A l'intérieur de l'enceinte se trouvent des bâtiments modernes : un manoir et une bergerie du 18e siècle, les communs du 19e siècle, le tout rebâti sur le corps de logis du 15e siècle et sur les restes du chastel du 12e siècle. L'ensemble doit sans doute conserver des salles et galeries souterraines non encore explorées.
