Le château actuel a été construit vers 1775. A la fin du 19e siècle, il a été transformé (1875-1880) par Georges-Paul Roussel, architecte à Louviers : hautes souches de cheminées, zincs de couverture, décoration intérieure, transformation des abords du château en parc à l'anglaise, ponctué d'allées sinueuses et de bosquets, construction de plusieurs bâtiments dans le parc (dont un chalet) , etc.
