What the French Ministry of Culture records

L'histoire du château de Plasnes paraît intimement liée à celle de la seigneurie de Courbépine. Les deux seigneuries avaient été acquises à la fin du 17e siècle par le marquis de Prie qui aurait fait bâtir au début du 18e siècle ce pavillon de chasse, en réutilisant les bases d'une construction plus ancienne. En 1939, il est revenu à la famille de Sincay, qui a entrepris la reconstitution du parc et fait ajouter deux extensions latérales. L'édifice est implanté sur un terre-plein descendant en terrasses vers le sud et dans l'axe duquel se trouve une pièce d'eau rectangulaire.
