Logis de la Touche stands in La Limouzinière (Loire-Atlantique), in the Pays de la Loire region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: fourth quarter of the 14th century, first quarter of the 15th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.
In La Limouzinière, in the Loire-Atlantique region, the logis de la Touche is what remains of a fortified estate built at the end of the 14th century for the Du Chaffault family. Today the site consists of a medieval gatehouse, extended in the 16th century by an arcaded gallery, surrounded by the remains of a park, old avenues and a fishpond overlooking the Logne river. The whole complex stands in ruins, giving a visit a more archaeological than monumental character.
