Schloss Zichow stands on the site of a medieval Burg, of which only the keep, the Fangerturm, first recorded in 1527, still survives. The present building, a two storey baroque wing with an L shaped plan and hipped roof, was built in 1745 by the von Arnim family after a fire, on the foundations of the earlier stronghold. The ensemble also includes an estate manager's house and a small park with a pond. Visitors can therefore see side by side a defensive tower from the 13th century and a manor house from the 18th century.
