Schloss Wedendorf stands on the shore of the Wedendorfer See in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Built in 1697 for Andreas Gottlieb von Bernstorff, it was substantially remodelled between 1805 and 1810 by the Berlin architect Martin Friedrich Rabe for Count Ernst von Bernstorff, giving the house its present neoclassical appearance. The painted ceilings in Pompeian style, created by the Italian painter Giuseppe Anselmo Pellicia, remain among the most notable interior features, though part of this decoration was lost during renovations in the 1930s. The building is now used as a hotel.
