Schloss Staufeneck stands in Piding (Landkreis Berchtesgadener Land), in Bavaria, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. No visits are on record for this building.

The Burg Staufeneck stands at the foot of the Hochstaufen, in the hamlet of Mauthausen, part of the municipality of Piding. Founded around 1240 by the lords of Staufeneck, who served the counts of Plain, it passed in 1306 to the Archbishopric of Salzburg, which turned it into the seat of a regional court for the Rupertiwinkel area. Its fortified appearance dates largely from building works carried out between 1503 and 1513 under Archbishop Leonhard von Keutschach, whose coat of arms still marks the entrance portal. In private ownership since 1870, it is inhabited today and not open for interior visits.
