To make a day of it
Schloss Neuhausen (Prignitz) stands in Berge (Landkreis Prignitz), in Brandenburg, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Schloss Neuhausen stands in Berge, in the Landkreis Prignitz in northwestern Brandenburg, on the site of a medieval castle destroyed in 1147 and later rebuilt by the von Rohr and then von Winterfeld families. The present building, reshaped into a three-winged baroque manor in 1738, still contains older features such as the chapel and vaulted cellars. Seized and left derelict after 1945, it was bought by an engineer in 1993 who began its restoration. It is not generally open to the public, but it hosts private events and opens occasionally on special dates.
