Schloss Milkel stands in Radibor, in the Landkreis Bautzen, in Saxony, on a site occupied since the 14th century and built on oak piles uncovered in 2005. The present building, substantially reshaped in the 18th century by the von Ponickau family who gave it its current form with the addition of the north tower, still holds star-ribbed vaults from the early 15th century in the south tower and a rococo stucco ceiling dating from around 1750. The estate also includes a park split between a formal French-style garden adorned with sandstone sculptures and an English landscape park shaped by Pückler-style design. The castle remains privately owned, but the park is open to visitors.
