Schloss Mauern is a small baroque château that now houses the town hall of the municipality of Mauern, in the Landkreis Freising. The present building, a plain two storey structure with a mansard roof, replaced an earlier manor that was burned down during the Thirty Years' War. Excavations have uncovered traces of settlement going back some 7500 years as well as remnants of an earlier structure dating to around the year 1000. Sections of the wall that once enclosed the château's garden still stand near the building.
